Bovey Castle

In the heart of Dartmoor National Park and 15 minutes from the A30, the historic, Bovey Castle sits high on the valley's edge. It offers a spa and golf course, and free parking. There are two restaurant choices for dining, The Great Western Grill, with à la carte menu, offering traditional favorites, meats, grills, steaks, house specials, fish and shellfish. Dishes range from dressed Brixham crab salad to red wine braised oxtail cottage pie, and poached native lobster with truffle macaroni cheese. Also the Smith’s Brasserie offers dishes inspired from the Mediterranean, with countryside views and a fire pit. Bovey Castle also offers a choice of breakfast and afternoon tea. The hotel offers activities, including falconry displays, woodland walks, a indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, gym, a range of beauty treatments and a range of activities on site including a 4x4 off road track, sloe gin making, rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting and archery.
